Free Museums in Paris
It is a well known the countless cultural possibilities offered by Paris, but did you know that many of the museums are free? Here’s a guide where you’ll find museums of all styles and conditions so you can visit the city of light without paying a single euro.

The Theatre – Museum Capucinos is one of the two museums in the Fragonard perfume house in Paris, dedicated to the world of perfume, with collections of the XIX Century it is Located near the Garnier Opera (District 2).
The Brancusi Workshop of the Centre Georges Pompidou is a reconstruction of the original sculptures workshop of artist Constantin Brancusi , located very near Montparnasse (District 4).

Arena of Lutetia is one of the few Roman remains preserved in Paris. It is an amphitheater with a capacity for 15000 people, discovered in the late XVIII century, it is also located in the Latin Quarter (District 5).
The Museum of the Bible and the Holy Land exhibits archaeological findings, ceramics and objects of daily life in Palestine, between the years 5000 to 600 BC It belongs to the Catholic Institute of Paris and only open on Saturdays. Located in the Saint Germain-des-Pres and the Musee D’Orsay (District 6).
The Guild Museum is dedicated to the history of crafts and is in the former headquarters of the Carpenters Guild. It’s in the neighborhood of Saint Germain-des-Prés and is open Monday to Friday (District 6).
The Museum of the Legion of Honour and the Orders of Chivalry is located in the Montparnasse area, at the Palais de Salm, a neoclassical building. It is dedicated to all those characters and events that have traced the history of France (District 7).
The Museum of Perfume – Fragonard, second perfume museum in Paris is dedicated to the more than 3000 years of history of perfume. Housed in a mansion of the XIX Century which belonged to Napoleon III, in its shop hundreds of home fragrances developed by Fragonard can be purchased at cost price (District 9).
The Contemporary Art Center Le Plateau, finally, presents works of artists from Paris, in addition to the usual exhibits, and does a great job teaching contemporary art. It is in the La Villette (District 19).
